Previous Work
Before entering documentary film in Chicago, I lived and worked in Colombia for almost four years, until late 2012, working first as a human rights observer and then as a print and multimedia journalist and investigative reporter, cinematographer, translator, and English teacher. I worked with the Network of Brotherhood and Solidarity with Colombia, Congreso de los Pueblos, Colombia Informs -- the Agency of Popular Communication, and Periphery Alternative Press. I have also worked for School of Americas Watch, Lara Community TV and Crepuscular Radio in Venezuela, American Friends Service Committee, Latino Policy Forum, and In These Times in Chicago, and Voces Revista in Guatemala.
